WHIWH Community Health Centre provides Primary Healthcare to Racialized women from Caribbean, African Women's Health In Women's Hands is a community health centre for women of diverse racial backgrounds in Metropolitan Toronto and surrounding municipalities. Our primary health care team of highly skilled health care professionals specializes in the health wellness and medical needs of racialized women. Our inclusive multidisciplinary services include primary medical health care, mental health support programs with individual and group counseling; dietician led programs, chiropody services, diabetes education centre,health promotion and education programs; pre- and post-natal care programs; HIV/AIDS prevention, support and care,healthy living activities and a Research program. We are committed to working from an inclusive feminist, pro-choice, anti-racist, anti-oppression, and multilingual participatory framework in addressing the issue of access to healthcare for our mandated priority populations encompassing gender, race, class, violence, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, culture, language, disability, immigration status and socio-economic circumstances.
